“Very nice hotel”

“The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. “Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out. The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail. It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....

“Absolutely amazing place to stay for a few nights. The cottage was perfectly sized for our family of 5, loved the out side space and the fabulous view of the beach. We had dinner in the restaurant, and the food was delicious. We will be going back!”
