“The mold was seen visible in the bathroom and the floors were not clean. Old furniture and asked for a rebate to no avail. Was told the property was updated. Beds are old and furniture is not new. TV has very few stations. Was not satisfied at all.”

“The Stannard Inn is an absolute jewel box on the Connecticut shoreline! It is a beautifully decorated coastal chic Captain’s home with thoughtfully appointed guests rooms and public areas. The Innkeepers were so deliberate with the amenities they offered and we could not have been more comfortable or felt more welcome. Will definitely be back again”

“Great place to stay! Love that we had our own cottage. #11, had its own living room, separate bedroom and kitchen, great deck overlooking the property. Everything is updated and clean. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, coffee maker, nice size refrigerator and stove. Enjoyed the community room, a lot of fun games there. Close to the bay and a bunch of great restaurants. Very quiet at night. Will definitely come back next year!”

“Clean rooms. On the smaller side, so one full room barely comfortably seats 4 ppl. the pool was nice. the staff was very nice. comes with an outdoor seating area and a grill and a fire pit.”
