“Pro: very good location right next to the Tradies club with walking distance to shops and restaurants. Con: old room decor with wear and tear, cleanliness could have been improved and would be great to have more power outlets. ”

“The shower was the worst - The water temperature had no consistency, it was just going between hot and cold non-stop. One of the bed covers had what looked like a cigarette burn in it And I would suggest bringing your own pillows. Other than that, the place was fine, room was very dark which we appreciated, it was clean enough too.”

“Third time I’ve stayed here. The price is good but the beds are so uncomfortable - I must have got a particularly bad one as I’d wake up with pins and needles down my arm. ”

“Good value for money. Essentially it’s a university hall of residence with hotel rooms. Not everyone’s cup of tea but fine for me. Clean and practical rooms with a clean shared bathroom and shared kitchenette. Is on the streetcar line to the city centre. I would stay here again.”

“Everything was great! Guys on front desk were amazing - nothing was a hassle and very glad to help where they could. The only thing is parking with a tall 4WD can be tricky as high ceiling spots are quite limited. ”

“Enjoyed the stay at the Mantra- room was spacious bed was comfortable staff friendly and helpful only suggestion to provide small capsules of milk in the fridge for tea or coffee”

“The motel is on the older side and looks like it hasn’t had a refresh in a long time. That is all ok as it’s reflected in the rate. The room was very large (it could easily have held another queen bed. It was also a comfortable walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the light rail. The only issues I had were the limited wifi (you get a daily limit which got used up in about 3 hours). A lot of Freeview channels were not available on the tv either. Otherwise, no problem. ”

“Comfy beds but cheap bedding/pillows/sheets etc. Balcony waa disgusting and dirty however everything else was very clean. Annoying that there was not enough plates/mugs/bowls etc for four people when it’s a four person apartment. Only one access key provided. Check in was a nightmare - zero communication and their method of check in was very confusing and it was hard to get in touch with the staff. Overall a lovely place.”
