“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. The room must not have been used for a while (4th floor Rm 405) when we turned on the water in the sink, it gurgled and came out black... It turned to clear water after a couple of seconds... Not a good way to start, but the room was nice, bed was comfortable.”
