“We had a truly great time. Nicole, Jean-Louis and Sebastien are wonderful hosts. After the check-in they accompanied us to the neighbours where we had the first champagne tasting. The house, located in the middle of champagne fields, is impeccable and the perfect location to visit Reims, Epernay and all the other great champagne places. We will definitely return to this place!”

“Opgelet!! Nadat we al enkele dagen ter plaatse waren hadden we een probleem met de eigenaar die beweerde niet met vrbo te werken voor de verhuur van het huis en er iemand anders geboekt stond om die dag de woning te betrekken.Hierdoor werd er gedreigd met de politie om ons uit de woning te zetten. Na contact met vrbo en contact tussen vrbo en de eigenaar werd het wel opgelost. Maar zou deze woning dus niet meer boeken via dit platform.”

Die ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur war genau das, was wir gesucht haben – ideal, um abzuschalten und die Champagne in aller Ruhe zu entdecken.Das Häuschen ist gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. “Das Ferienhaus war okay für 2 Nächte. Es liegt in der Nähe eines kleinen Parks mit Spielplatz, das war schön mit Kind. Das Haus ist an sich schön aber war leider nicht sauber, eine bessere Ausstattung wäre wünschenswert gewesen (z. B. ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck für alle Gäste und Terassenmöbel) und der Garten war nicht nutzbar, weil verwildert. Schade!”

“Paula was a top rank host. Quick to respond, thoughtful, and helpful. The kitchen is smallish but pretty well equipped. Reims is a great side trip, of course, but so is chalone-en-champagne. We had many excellent meals. Best was probably Why Not, much more elegant than the name suggests. Was not wowed by Grillade Gourmand.If you are serious about champagne, I recommend you arrange visits with some small growers. The large house tours are fun but not as interesting.”
