Great location for a quiet family vacation - quiet and secluded but opportunities for walks and to visit the nearby McDowell battlefield. Host was very welcoming and helpful and the house had everything we needed. Will definitely come back!

The room was nice and clean. there were flies comming in upstairs but that is truely typical of a house of this age. The owner had asked us to pay a couple of taxes that were not listed in the price (not sure it is ethical/legal/moral) - they close by 9 or you have to pay a $50 late fee A fee - no ...
