“Room was clean. It was like staying in grandma's spare room. Quilt on the bed, worn real leather chair. Very homey. Still using metal keys on classic diamond key chains. I felt like I'd stepped back in time. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when I locked my key in my room.”

“There was an issue where the property can’t see what is booked through Expedia so they put us in a queen when we booked a king. They quickly rectified this, put us in a king and waived our pet fees. Everything was excellent with this historical hotel. The location and amenities are top notch and it was such a fun, but interesting step back in time. “Check in was easy and the owner ( I'm guessing) was mice enough to give us a downstairs room after I asked, the room is very basic, checked out the bathroom and on the floor was a dead spider bigger than my head ( it looked maybe a tad smaller) the room did not smell nice, bed was decent after driving 12 hours in a day! Figured out it was a handicap room but didn't understand why the shower head was way up almost to the top of the shower stall, how would a handicap person reach it??? Only one...
