“Lovely rural Dorset pub. Excellent food, locally sourced. Staff very friendly. It is very rural, and that is its charm. Do be prepared for high hedgerows and single track roads but worth it when you get there.”
“Great location just a short drive from the beach. Plenty of shopping in walking distance and a nice farmers market on the doorstep when we were there.

“We were warmly welcomed and given the keys early, and able to drop our bags off, so we could come back when the room was ready and let ourselves in.
The room was small but had two chairs by the window which was lovely for looking out at the beach whilst enjoying a cup of tea in the morning. The fridge was great for keeping drinks cool and being able to use fresh milk was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast ingredients were of a high quality. ”
“The property is tastefully decorated in great condition and extremely clean and tidy. We street parked during our stay with no issues with a parking pass from our amazing host Maxine. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without her , went above and beyond to make our experience of Weymouth the best it could be starting the day with a delicious breakfast and the go too’s and must sees of what the area had to offer. Booking anywhere else would be a waste of money… this is the place it Stands...
“Got a family room (5people) with sea view which was freshly renovated clean and spacious. Newly furnished, new comfy mattresses large winfow facing the sea. Bathroom freshly renovated and modern with shower cubicle. The pictures in the listing were taken before renovation and doesn't do the justice. I was impressed with the room. Parking at the back of the property tight but available. Pool table, darts and evening entertainment in the basement. Pleasant stay just staff running around and hard...

“Very nice old inn hotel. Nicely renovated and providing all modern facilties. Excellent restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Very friendly staff. On arrival the room for the three of us was not available due to a technical issue and they gave us two fourposter rooms. Short drive to the Jurassic Coast and also nice small village to take a short walk after dinner or in the morning.”
“Love, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!!
Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place.”
“Great room, friendly staff, lively pub/venue downstairs with live music, great location with very close walking distance to the harbour & only around a 10min walk from the beach, right opposite a JD Weatherspoons (if that's your kind of thing!).

“Lovely old style pub with beams with a stream set in a valley leading to the beach just relaxing peaceful beautiful setting lovely for a couple to stay which we were rooms was lovely very cosy and homely feel super clean lovely bed just such a nice experience with a included breakfast traditional and continental which was locally produced ingredients xx”
