“I chose Afrilodge because it looked like it would be close to the sights I wanted to see on the map. It was perfect. I was able to walk literally everywhere. It is located on a main street and easy to reach Providence island, the museum, churches, and monuments in about 10 minutes walking in most cases. “There were many issues with the rooms, the first suite we were given had problems, the key was not working and the Fridge was not working. so they had to move us to another suite which also had problems, the AC didn’t have a remote and the shower didn’t have hot water. The wifi was very poor. The staff didn’t know how to solve some of these issues. ”

“Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. ”
