“We stayed here a few years ago and it was lovely and perfect. This year was different. It is still nice and clean but not the same. They remodeled everything and not in a good way. It just seems like they don’t really care now. The hot tub was not working and very dirty. The staff is great but very few staff. It’s just not worth the money now.”

“The breakfast wasn’t appealing. Didn’t eat anything. The parking was tight and not enough spaces. The pool was ok but the where you lean on the edge was very rough. My granddaughter had a big red area with marks on her back from rubbing the edge. Asked for room service while we were out for the day to change the linens and all they did was leave towels. “Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is pet friendly and welcoming to service animals, which was a big plus. One thing to know before visiting is that dogs are not allowed on the beach in Kill Devil Hills from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the summer.
