“Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. “The cottage was clean, well appointed and made for a pleasant stay. It is in the heart of the village with food and coffee shops very close by, and just a short walk to the local pub. The beach is 10 minutes walk away, and Gullane is a lovely spot to explore from. ”

“Stable cottage is in a beautiful location a few miles from Berwick upon Tweed and the other attractions of the Scottish Borders and North East England. It is warm cosy and well equipped and so peaceful. A car is a must if you are staying here. We had a last minute problem with dates and Liz was so helpful is changing them for us. I would recommend this cottage and will definitely revisit. ”
