“Lovely clean room, evening meal & breakfast”

“Breakfast service was excellent although the choice of continental is very limited and poorer quality products. The room was clean but very much in need of updating. The mechanical ventilation system makes the bathroom really quite cold and the towel rail was on fully. Love the hotel and staff and always a great vibe so none of this would put me off staying again but I’d love to see the rooms modernised. I’ve been staying here for 20 years now so I’m always going to choose this hotel over...

“Amazing welcoming staff in all areas - delicious bar food and al la carte Rooms comfy, loud bathroom fan which you have to turn on as no window but for what we needed close to the races and anyone playing golf with the beach and sea a stone throw away - highly recommend ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time.”

“The hotel is in a lovely setting and the main house looks very charming. I had booked into the annexe into one of the express rooms. I arrived at 11 at night at Prestwick airport so was using the hotel as a stopping off location. The rooms are very basic and a little old fashioned, but clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. I had breakfast in the main part of the hotel which was very comfortable. I would certainly recommend the hotel.”

“Absolutely brilliant experience. The hotel is beautiful. Staff are so friendly and welcoming they can’t do enough for you. A bit slow when ordering room service a few times we had to phone twice as nothing arrived and it took over 1 hour when it did. The food for a 5 star hotel isn’t the best and not worth the prices charged for it. Very adverage food. ”
