Hotel a East Claridon

“The only complaint I have is that they attempted to charge my card twice after I prepaid through Expedia. However, I have a wonderful stay otherwise.”

“We stayed at this location because of the wineries nearby. Both the hotel website and the Debonne winery website advertised free shuttles to and from the winery. The website was clear that the shuttles were daily and complimentary. When we got there we were told first that there weren’t shuttles, and later that there was one going at 4:30, for $39 a person!!! It all felt very sketchy. The hotel itself was fine and the breakfast was solid, but if you are looking for a winery shuttle or helpful...

“Super 8 was okay. Our room smelled a little bad, but we sprayed some deodorizers around and it solved the problem. Otherwise it was fine. No breakfast was disappointing.”

“Quiet and peaceful. A beautifully restored 19th Century farmhouse, comfortable rooms, friendly hosts, and a great breakfast offered as an add-on.”

“The wallpaper was peeling in the room and hallways. The hallways were dark and not air conditioned. Everything was old and in need of repair. The restaurant wasn't open and the breakfast was a small pastry in a to-go box. The pool was freezing and cloudy. The TV was very small and not streaming services adaptable. There is also no microwave in the rooms. I was there two nights and never saw house keeping. Aurora is a nice neighborhood, this hotel might have been nice 20 years ago but not now.”

“Room 136 was so humid that my passport curled up. My clothes were soaked. The washroom floor had a film of water on it from the humidity in the room and the ceiling was also wet from the humidity. I woke up soaked from head to toe in the morning because the air conditioner didn't do it's job. Got moved to room 146 and it was much better as the air conditioning worked well... Or so I thought. It did not turn off throughout the night and the room was 65 degrees Fahrenheit in the morning. ...

“My only complaint is that the toilet seats are really low. It is especially uncomfortable if you have long legs.”
