“The Stannard Inn is an absolute jewel box on the Connecticut shoreline! It is a beautifully decorated coastal chic Captain’s home with thoughtfully appointed guests rooms and public areas. The Innkeepers were so deliberate with the amenities they offered and we could not have been more comfortable or felt more welcome. Will definitely be back again”

“Location was great, but the bed in room 7 was the worst I ever slept in! The minute
we sat down, it sunk so low. I actually had to sleep where your feet go because the bed on that side was a little bit firmer. Another thing, there is an 8in step or drop to the bathroom which I never experienced before. This place has no elevator, so I do not recommend this room which was on the top floor to an elderly person.”

“Stayed for two nights. At arrival I contacted the landlord as informed on the welcoming mail regarding a locked safe - still haven’t heard from them.
Very cold bathroom floor, incredibly noisy AC and fridge. Not even a glass in either the room nor bathroom. Top it up properly a room on the second floor with very small steps and an almost 45 degree angel.
Will not recommend to anyone and will never return…”

“Recently enjoyed a few days at the Sagaponack before the "season"started. My accommodations were wonderful. The rooms are thoughtfully prepared with a few little extras that were such a nice touch. The staff was great and I appreciated the coffee bar stocked with morning essentials like yogurts, granola, breakfast bars and croissants or afternoon treats, like chips, fresh baked cookies and some sweet candies to grab and go.
