“questo soggiorno è stata una piccola fiaba di poche ore. La casa risale all'Ottocento (è una villa) ed è registrata infatti nel Registro Nazionale statunitense dei luoghi storici. Entrando si viene subito trascinati in un'atmosfera magica perché le varie stanze sono rimaste arredate come un tempo: camini, grandi mobili in legno, palchetti originali e tanti piccoli oggetti curiosi (sarebbe lungo descriverli, vi consiglio una visita sul sito ufficiale della Vrooman Mansion). “Nice location, plenty of space in the Loft room, and appreciate being pet friendly. The towels need an upgrade as does some of the interior. Breakfast is convenient and daily drink at the Bar is nice.”

“The room didn't have any ventilation. A lot of gnats and the carpet on the floor had a lot of moisture and dirty. Like they took a dirty mop and wiped the carpet with it. I couldn't wait to leave. I wouldn't stay again!”

“Overall, our experience was okay. However, wherever you turn, you notice little things . . . a loose shower handle, exposed nuts/bolts at the base of the toilet, etc. Simple maintenance issues that differentiate a down-at-the-heels hotel from a good property. As for room service, we never broke the code on which days our room might be made up. Better hotels tell you what you might expect at check-in. Appena 5 minuti di auto dal centro di Bloomington e 10 minuti da Normal (con un centro molto bello). Colazione degna di nome,visto cosa propone la concorenza di queti tempi. Consiglio a chi passa da queste parti. ”

“Comfortable and location was great”

“The staff were very kind and the room was spacious and clean. The pool was quite run down and the skimmer wasn’t working as there were a bunch of hairs floating in the pool. (Black hairs, my husband is ginger and I am blonde so it wasn’t ours). One of the pool ladders is loose and when I went to climb out it shifted and I hit my foot and fell back into the pool pretty hard.”
