“We had a lovely stay at the Marquis, our suite was lovely and had a private west facing balcony so we watched a lovely sunset over the river.
Dinner was excellent, as was the wine, highly recommended.

“Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very modern and lovely & clean. When we did stay it was a very hot weekend where the room was hot, would of been nice if there was a fan in the room that we could of used.
Free parking which is an added bonus. Only short walk into Colchesters main town. Would recommend to anyone.”

“Il George è situato in High Street quindi in pieno centro con i soliti vantaggi e svantaggi che questo comporta. Facilmente raggiungibile dalla Colchester Coach station e una passeggiata (all'andata in salita) di circa 5-10 minuti dalla railway station. Purtroppo sono arrivata alle 10:30 e il check-in si può fare solo dalle 14:00 quindi non ho avuto l'opportunità di rinfrescarmi prima di andare a visitare la città. Mi hanno dato però la possibilità di lasciare in custodia il trolley. La camera...

“Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. ”

“The room was big enough and clean and the bed was good. However, the temperature was much to high. The mobile fan had no effect(just moving the warmth) en was noisy. I missed the fridge and I would have expected more than a bottle of soap in the bathroom since the price for the room was relatively high.”

“Very central so walk to anywhere in the town. Quirky but very acceptable. Some people wouldn't like some aspects but good for one night. Would stay again. No parking but street parking lets you park 3 hours before 8pm and after 8am. Unfortunately I misread the signs and parked on a disabled. An extra £35!”
