“Spacious room - staff very helpful- beautiful surroundings - lovely breakfast - asked to extend room for 1 hour and no quibble. Even an electric charge point - sadly did not get to experience the spa. Will definitely stay again ”
“The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. “Visually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff.
Breakfast … we’d booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something.
But overall we had a very good stay and would return.”

They were very accommodating and gave me a room upgrade which was lovely. They carried my luggage to my room. Breakfast was amazing. Servers were friendly. The front desk agent arranged transportation for me when I left. A very pleasant stay. ”

“Had an amazing stay! Room was fantastic! So no what we was expecting, we only booked last minute over the bank holiday weekend as we had a funeral nearby.
Everything about the room was excellent, clean, modern, gorgeous shower.
We ate in the pub restaurant, the food was superb.
