“Overall the hotel was ok. The bed was hard and a four poster, which wasn’t very tall, so I had quite a few head bumps. We stayed during the cold snap and the room didn’t have great heating, however reception did provide an additional electric radiator which worked perfectly. Overall staff were great, parking was easy, it is dog friendly but not all rooms are from what I could gather so you should check in advance if it’s ok. “I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around .”

“pub is now closed but rooms still availble, you would need to go to another pub which is a 2 mins drive or 20 min walk for dinner. Lovely owner, very friendly.”

“Stayed here during the summer, breakfast was great, we were given a menu and a choice of continental selection. Breakfast cooked fresh so we booked again. Sadly this time we were greeted with a breakfast buffet which wasnt the same. Therefore we would not be in a rush back, hopefully the cook will ge brought back ”
