“We stayed at the Red Lion for a few days as we were meeting family. The accommodation is situated at the back of the pub and is bright and clean. You can access it by walking through the pub or walking round the back. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy when the pub is open! It’s situation means you have easy access to get to many places by road very quickly. The staff who work there are fantastic and very helpful. “We have stayed a few times but before the hotel was closed for a few months we always enjoyed it here. We got into the room and the TV wasn’t working properly, staff did come to try fix it then the maintenance man. He couldn’t fix it so said he would speak to reception and ask for us to be moved, we waited an hour then went to reception the message had not been passed on. “We had a great two night stay at Farington Lodge. The room was very large and clean. Staff were great and helpful. The breakfast choice was very good. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. My starter could have been a main course, it was so big. The roast main course was fantastic, with lots of roast beef. The grounds are good for a little stroll. Recommended for a break with a bit of class.”

“The main part of the hotel was stunning. The room I was in & the grounds needs a little TLC and. But overall comfortable night. The lates and resivour was lovely to walk around and spot local wildlife etc. ”
