“This was out first stay at Casa Mere and we were so impressed. The room was very clean, tidy with a very comfortable bed. The pub it is attached to is lovely, so atmospheric and served a great breakfast with a wide choice of food. Staff throughout were very kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellently situated and was fantastic value for money. We would definitely recommend it.”

“Room seemed ok, apart from the fact of being at 4th floor without lift... till I opened the window. Window was opening 4 cms only. Inner curtain , in the room, was full of dead moths and bugs, DISGUSTING. Basil was CRACKED and all ceiling corners full of soiders nets. DISGUSTING. Bed very old.”

“We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the area fairly quiet. It’s a short walk into town, so very conveniently positioned. The staff were very helpful and responsive, even agreeing to a late check out at short notice which was much appreciated. I would certainly stay here again and I recommend it to others.”

“I was really disappointed with my recent stay here and wouldn’t return. The hotel advertises having a restaurant, but there wasn’t one available. The lighting in the hallways near reception was extremely poor, which didn’t feel welcoming or safe. There were leaks coming through the ceilings with no buckets underneath, meaning you had to walk through puddles just to reach your room. The whole building had a noticeable damp smell throughout. “The host upon arrival was extremely friendly and very helpful .the staff were ever so nice Room was very clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfy and best nights sleep I have had in a long while. The breakfast was delicious and well priced..best sausages ever! Will definitely stay again and definitely recommend.”
