“Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. ”

“Very quaint old stone cottage in a lovely quiet seting. Away from the hustle and bustle but just a 20min train ride to Endiburgh central which we used. Car probably needed for random day trips as we did.All in all a nice spot with vey quick response from our hosts to any queries.Richard”

“The cottage was clean, well appointed and made for a pleasant stay. It is in the heart of the village with food and coffee shops very close by, and just a short walk to the local pub. The beach is 10 minutes walk away, and Gullane is a lovely spot to explore from. ”

“The attic room was clean and very nicely decorated. The full bathroom was next door. There was a fridge, microwave and teakettle as well as mugs and dishes. ”

“It was amazing, only that we had to move on we would have stay there longer. Only 10mins to the shops and to the motorway. Peace and quiet. Would recommend it to everyone.”

“The house was in a great location, just 10 min walk from St Andrews Sq tram stop., With 7 people, we had plenty of space to spread out. Beds were comfortable . Just a few min walk to several coffee shops. We would stay here again if we’re ever back in Edinburgh.”

“We loved our stay! Close to everything Edinburgh and surrounding area has to offer. Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from that were only a 5-10 minute drive away. So much space for our family of 4 and such a cozy cottage. The view out the back door was everything we could have wanted. Extremely easy and smooth check in and check out. We were looking for a quiet retreat to finish off our month long adventure in the UK and this cottage was everything and more! We would definitely stay here...

“The location is perfect. Just to the south of Edinburgh, within easy reach of interesting places such as Rosslyn & Stirling.A long, tree-lined road leads up to the cottages. The cottage itself was clean, with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable.We took the tour of the house, given by Henrietta and her mother who filled it with many personal anecdotes and observations. Much better than a dry talk from someone with no connection to the family. My favourite room, the library. I...
