“I would not suggest this place or host to anyone. The place had not been cleaned and was filthy. We spent 2 hours cleaning before we could unpack. When we notified host with pics she offered to have someone clean it, but we had already checked in at 9pm the night before and cleaned it. We asked her to work with us on the cleaning fee since it had not been cleaned for us and she ignored that part of the conversation. I feel after giving her two chances to make the situation right by discounting...

“Everything was great! Just as described. It's a compact room, but with everything needed to be comfortable when not at the beach. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, and the beach itself felt remote even with all the buildings nearby. At low tide there was so much beach!! I got the resort passes but none of the facilities were pet friendly and they were quite adament about my wife not even carrying our tiny dog where pets weren't allowed. We made do. The beach itself was very pet friendly!...

“The location was perfect for our visit and the house is beautiful with a great view of the marsh. We had a slight problem with the hot water and the owner was very communicative in working to fix the issue. We would love to stay at the property again on future visits to the area. It’s conveniently located between historic Charleston and Folly Beach.”
