Hotel vicino a Elijah Iles House - Springfield

“We were in the Orchid Suite with a beautiful living room and 2 bedrooms. The master had a king sized bed and the second bedroom had a Queen sized bed. All furnishings in the entire suite were from the early 1900’s. Period appropriate. The private porch was an added bonus for us while enjoying our wine in the evening, and coffee in the morning. The bathroom had a jetted tub. The suite was spacious, air-conditioned, and more than we had anticipated. We will certainly stay again and rated this...

“Room clean. Towels adequate for two people. AC wonderful. View of city beautiful. Breakfast was great. Front desk staff friendly and always helpful. Parking good. We had E bikes locked and cabled in open truck bed and we were concerned they might be stolen. Front desk informed us to park in the lot where they had cameras. That’s what we did and all was good. Two tissues left in Kleenex box and had to request refill. Only decaf coffee available and had to request caffeinated pack. Got in nice...

“This property was being renovated during our stay, but it was not an issue. The only negative was that the staff seemed unprepared for the number of people at breakfast, which left guests waiting 10-15 minutes for eggs and sausage links.”

“Con mia moglie volevamo trascorrere 2 giorni a Springfield, onestamente mi sono sempre trovato bene con la catena Hilton, questa volta no, presumo che sia un franciasing. Assenza d’acqua per un giorno dalle 8 del mattino fino alle 19, pensate voi quando dovevate andare in bagno- la camera non rifatta. Al momento del check out, nessun gesto da parte del manager- non lo consiglio a nessuno.”

“Liked adequate handicapped parking, helpful check in associate, grab bars in tub/shower, spacious room, plenty of AC outlets, room to open suitcases, fridge & microwave in room. Dislike lack of any really good water pressure and slippery tub flooring (was later informed at check out that I could have requested a floor mat, which they have a limited number of), and, I disliked noisy neighbors (and their walls are thin). When I called the front desk to tell them about this, the noise continued...

“Ottimo Hotel, pulito e ben arredato, unica pecca sono i pc dell'area comune, lo puoi usare solo per navigare in internet, se devi spostare le foto da una fotocamera ad una memoria esterna, come nel mio caso, non è possibile, in quanto puoi usare il pc per soli 15 minuti e solo per visionare delle pagine internet.”
