Hotel vicino a Elk River -

“We stayed 5 nights. The sheets and towels were stained. The room was dirty. They took out the trash and gave us new towels one time during our stay after we asked them several times. Often there was no one present on the premises. The street where the hotel is located is VERY run down. They did give us an extra room to keep our bikes which we appreciated. They were nice when we saw them.”

“The hotel was difficult to get to. You can see it from the interstate, but when you get off at the exit, you can't see it. There are no signs directing you to the hotel. I finally found it. “Drug addicts hanging outside the hotel! Watching you walk to your room. Felt very unsafe didnt last an hour grabbed my stuff and left. Do not stay!”

“The breakfast was minimal, when things needed replenished , the one staff on site acted put out and only added items when asked. Two separate hotels ours was the 3rd floor, the smell of pot was overwhelming, and there was a loud machine running in the building at 2 am which made it near impossible to sleep. I pray our next hotel is as advertised.”

“We stayed here to experience the Rail Explorers Elk River tour, which makes the hotel’s location convenient if one is coming from Ohio. The beds were comfortable! The hallway carpets and furniture were all banged up or stained. The guests seemed a little rowdy the night we stayed, including an incessant yapping dog. “Sarah checked us in and was extremely helpful. We had arrived early and our rooms were ready for check in. She assisted with recommendations for hiking and restaurants in the area. We stayed for two days and had a lovely time. The staff was nice and courteous. Very nice rooms with updated amenities. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I'm back in the area”

“This is a basic, no-frills old property that has aged well. The rooms are plain, and nothing but coffee in the office for breakfast. I am a traveler who looks for a clean place to sleep and shower; the frills don't matter. This fits the bill for someone who would rather spend their money on other things than frills in a room they will sleep in and be gone from in 12 hours. In cities, cheap hotels attract an element to stay away from, but that type is not touring the back roads of West Virginia.”

“Room was well cleaned and the breakfast was well stocked. The night front desk staff was not so helpful and wasn't paying much attention when doing the check-in process.”

“We booked a single bedroom suite and they upgraded us to a two bedroom suite for free. It was very spacious and had all the amenities including a kitchen and living room. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Staff are super friendly. Great experience overall!”
