Hotel a Elk River

“Outside of this hotel is horrible! Weeds all over, cigarette butts everywhere very used and abused looking. Rooms were ok clean but definitely could be better, stains on the chair, leftovers in the fridge and the floor around the toilet needs more scrubbing. If this hotel wasn’t so close to our venue for the weekend I probably wouldn’t stay here. The staff was super nice and helpful!”

“Our room was clean and quiet ; we asked for it to be scent free for my husband who gets migraines from room fresheners, oils, perfumes etc, and also asked for additional pillows and they honored our request. Breakfast was minimal but just fine for our needs. The open area downstairs was very comfortable for visiting with our friends after breakfast who were also guests at AmericInn. The location was perfect for our stay.”

“Only rated ok bc had our dog with us and it’s possible that they just let the room go bc it is marked for pets. The room smells of cat urine, lots of stains on lower bed. We travel with our dogs and have only 1 or 2 places worse than this room. Even lamps were crooked and really stained. Bathroom was fine. Really needs needs better cleaning treatments, new bedding, fix the lamps. Really no reason for a pet room to smell or look like this”

“I want a refund! The hotel was fine. The room was fine. The amenities were fine. The host was terribly overworked only one person for that large hotel. The only problem was the phone didn’t work so I couldn’t call the front desk. The TV didn’t work so that’s why I had to use the phone. I want a refund. So I walked my lazy butt down to the front desk and watched how overworked the one person was. Since she was overworked, I waited for her to finish with other customers told her my problem we...

“Good price, room service each day of our stay. Both positives. The not so good, the room was very hot when first entering. The brown middle blanket was falling apart. The carpet was dirty and stained. The table chair was dirty and stained, did not sit on it! Some of these items could be corrected without spending a lot of money and would have made the stay much better. Thank you.”

“The hotel is very aging and my rom has a strong damp smell due to the exhausting fan in the bathroom does not work. The air conditioner's fan is very loud. Talked to the receptionist about these to see if we could change our room, but she insisted that the fan was working, just quietly, and the air conditioner was dealing with the heatwave. Also, on the first day, I came to the front desk at 2:45 PM, only 15 minutes before the checking time, but the receptionist refused to check me in. We had to...
