“The Torquay Hotel has an excellent location, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks—everything we tried was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and easy. The room itself, however, was very old and definitely in need of updating. While it seemed generally clean, the carpets were quite worn and felt a bit gross. “Beautiful, modern room. Restaurant /bar very nice and staff super friendly and efficient. Only let down was that the pool was closed for 1 day and when open was zoned in lanes, so not a hotel/holiday vibe at all. ”
