Motel a Encinitas

“Very large rooms, lots of parking, stayed in the front of the motel. Particularly love this motel for dog parents. Felicita County Park is a 5 minute drive and you can park across from the park if the gate is not open to walk your dog, Also its a ten minute walk to the back entrance of Kit Carson Park with hiking, dog trails and a sport center, lots of people riding bikes. ”

“The hotel is old, they couldn’t find my reservation when I got there, I end up with a king instead of two doubles as requested, no trash can in the room, very dirty sofa, microwave with no inner plate, no fridge, broken boards near the sink. Both lamps unplugged and had to move nightstands to plug in - wall sockets loose and probably not safe. Luckily it was just a place to crash overnight while at a soccer tournament. Only stayed because we were too tired to hunt down another place to stay....

“I keep my expectations reasonable for motels, I know you get what you pay for, but this was bad. We stopped in the room, saw the stained sheets, ripped furniture, horrible smell, and we went and stayed somewhere else.”

“Staff. AC was good. No issues with check in or check out. Got my deposit back about 3 days later. Would stay again. ”

“Motel 6 Carlsbad, CA - North, room was spacious and very clean, staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. This Motel 6 is situated in a perfect area if you have a dog or kids, there is a park nearby within a 3 minute walk with large grassy area and play area. In addition there is another park closer to the beach Carlsbad has tons of great restaurants and coffee shop. ”

“The staff and room were amazing! We stayed in a large room with the walls and ceiling adored with hand painted scenery. Large bathroom too. All very clean and comfortable. ”

“Amenities are minimal. The least expensive amount and type of soap and shampoo. Room was not entirely tidy on arrival.”
