“We had the private villa with the balcony . The place it self is nice with an ocean view. The bar is only open until 9 which is a downer but the drinks are reasonable priced. It is a 5 minute walk from the airport so no need for a taxi to get to and from which I liked. Right by the beach which was nice. You can tell the property is older but it is nice and quiet. They have cats and roosters on the property. Seem like the island is known for that, they don’t bother anyone tho. ”

“We stayed here for several nights. It's a beautiful location and the view out of room was gorgeous! The only caution is the number of steps to get to your room, unless you have one of those along the shore. I didn't realize that when I booked the hotel - I chose this for the most reasonable price for a room with a view! A few days before our stay, the hotel sent me an email notifying me of the steps and that no porter help is available. Their advice was good and much appreciated. Had I...

“What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! “What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!”
