“The room was very clean nothing fancy just what i needed thou and very comfortable ,the staff were very nice and helpful.i only stayed 1 night but would go back again..”

“Whilst not the most exciting hotel, can’t fault the Rydges Latimer on much. Good location a 10 min walk to downtown, staff were all very pleasant and efficient, room was nice and dinner at the restaurant was good. Good for a short stay”

“A great find in Christchurch - exceptionally clean and well-appointed apartment, and a host who clearly cares about his guest experience. Despite being on busy Bealey Ave, the rooms were incredibly quiet, which made for a great sleep. While this time was a very short trip to Christchurch, we'll be back again for a longer stay.”

“Very cool how they mixed a hotel and hostel vibe. We brought our family and it was good for them to see how fun it is for young people to travel like I used to. Check-in was a bit clunky, but not too bad. ”

“Fantastic stay. Fire alarm went off early and a neighbour banged on our door like a nutter and accused us of setting the alarm off. We were all asleep at the time. Firemen told us somebody burnt their toast in a building next door. ”

“We had a short but fun visit in Dyers house. I wish we could have stayed longer. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The owners also told us about the Antarctic Center at Christchurch Airport which is definitely worth a visit.”
