“One night stay. Arrived early, no rooms available told to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes watched 2 people check in with none available yet for us. 20 minutes later gal at the desk got us a room. Everything new bright clean. No Issues. Great breakfast. Waited 10 minutes at desk to check out. No one present finally 3 or 4 of the people waiting just left the keys and walked out. 8:30AM the front desk of a sold out hotel and no one present.”

“The Ankeny Diner delayed breakfast opening until 9am because of Father's day brunch. There were no signs or notices, and according to another guest the front desk clerk didn't even know about it, nobody at the hotel was made aware of "no breakfast" ahead of time.”

“DIRTY, GARBAGE EVERYWHERE. FRONT DESK STAFF WAS TERRIBLE. THE WHOLE PROPERTY WAS SKETCHY ANS MARIGUANA SMELL WAS EVERYWHRE.”

“I mean…it’s dirty, sleazy, and cheap. Sometimes that is just what one needs. Usually not, but hey, if thats your thing…you'll love this place”

“The property overall was not well maintained. There was no air conditioning in the common areas of the hotel. The rooms need to be renovated. I received a fairly clean room but had to ask for bath towels and toilet paper. The staff, however was helpful. The pictures online are not accurate. Overall, the property needs to be renovated to be worth the money you spend. Unfortunately, I will be sure not to ever stay at a Wyndom hotel.”

“Second year we have stayed there for a local family reunion. No complaints or issues. Well cared for property, helpful staff. decent breakfast and conveniently located to Ankeny/north Des Moines properties. Will stay again,”

“Overall this is a very nice, clean, hotel which was 10 minutes away from our venue. Would have liked more breakfast options, such as turkey or chicken sausage, but no complaints about this hotel. I really liked that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. We would definitely stay here again.”

“No front desk after hours, I think I woke someone up when I pressed ZERO on the house phone. The room was exactly what you might expect for $75 all in. Looked like a prison barrack. It had a small kitchen area, but two rock hard plastic chairs, a laminate floor and it smelled quite musty. It was also raining, and it sounded like raindrops were hitting an internal vent or something. Happy to sleep and get out of there.”

“Breakfast felt old, juice in pitchers, no hot oatmeal, coffee in separate room, just felt out dated Room, shower doors and wall were not clean. Toilet was super hard to flush, handle was ready to break. ”
