“Beautiful room right on the river. Slept with the window open and enjoyed the sounds of the river. Basic room - Very clean, modern room. Will definitely return, especially in the winter when it snows. If you come in the summer, bring an inner tube to cruise down the lake. Highly recommend for a basic, inexpensive alternative to South Lake, which is only 30 min away.”

“I don’t usually leave review but this was the worst stay I’ve ever experience. The check in instruction is horrible. It doesn’t say where we should check in and the front desk doesn’t pick up the phone when I called. It just give me the time and hour of operation and phone number. When we got there we went drive around looking to check In. During that time we went through the gated entrance which we though its part of the resort but turn out it wasn’t. “This is a low budget hotel - the rooms are tiny and I would not call the pillows and bedspreads clean - there is no air conditioning or tv - it is very rustic - do not stay here if you are looking for a resort - you would stay here because it is close to the beach. You would also stay here because you enjoy the Camp Richardson experience - the WiFi is great - I worked from a picnic table outside!”

“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money...

“Loved the location! It was right across from the lake! The hotel was okay, no frills but the rooms were very clean! The property itself is old and could use a little TLC. The small restaurant attached to the property (Elements) was absolutely amazing and convenient! Overall great stay!”
