“Me and my friends had a short stay at budget inn (3 nights), but we got that hotel because was one with hot tub, and guess what? It wasn’t working! Not getting hot at all. Also, one of the breakfasts had a problem that the wall where the machines for drinks was connected wasn’t working, the lady that worked on the breakfast part was supper helpful putting a cord to make it work, I know it might not be a huge problem, but it was actually bad for us having that problem that day. “The room was clean. Our sliding glass door lead to a small patio and beach area. Beautiful view. Large hot tub, nice pool. Staff was excellent! My son left his wallet in the room, after checkout. They called us, we was literally crossing the Ohio state line. They shipped the wallet to us. He had over $300 cash. It arrived in the mail with everything in it. Highly recommend this stay!”

“Staff who greeted us on our arrival was friendly and very accomodating. Our room and the hotel looks clean, hot tub was relaxing. Breakfast was basic. Cereal, coffee, milk, orange juice, boiled egg, toast, yogurt, and a selection of apple or banana. If you are a heavy breakfast eater this will probably not be a good fit for you but it kept us on the go. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Amazing place to stay. It is a hike from Main Street but well worth it. This place would be amazing for romantic getaways and our family of six loved it too. Fires with s’mores, soccer, bags, ladder ball, and so much ch more to do. The pizza was amazing and fitness center was clean. We will be back for sure!!!”

“Could I give less than zero stars? We did not receive the code for a/the-room at all, until hours after I called the owners number and left a message as the motel does not have a staff or an office! After a hour sitting in the parking lot trying to get help, we left. Wish it would be listed on the Expedia site that the motel is not manned at all. I also texted the owner with no reply. Called Expedia customer service.. what a joke. All they wanted us to do was sign up for a gift card...

“Great location directly across from Shepler’s Ferry. They took care of our luggage from the dock in Mackinac City all the way to our room. Enjoyed Winchesters and Kilwins without leaving the building. The breakfast delivery was very good. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff was very nice and helpful.”
