“The room and facilities were good though the bathroom has a window grill open to outside so was freezing cold at night, to cold to stay in for a shower etc. We ate at the restaurant, the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked but and they didn't deliver to the table any of the sides we had ordered so we had steaks, no potatos, no veggies, and some how we were charged $29 for what we are pretty sure was a $17 glass of wine. The owners were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, helping us settle in and enjoy everything the property had to offer. “Still calling them everyday for my bond refund.. Waited 2 hours to check because they were not responding.. Remember they will ask you to pay bond and won't return easily or maybe your experience better. $8 if you need aircon or heater so I am not staying there bcz I had to wait hours with two kids before they let me in even then they had issues with codes”

“Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel.”
