The place had a chimney and it was pretty cold so I built the fire every night and in my fireplace in the room. All I know is we slept a lot too. It's very quiet at night and very dark.”

“Excellent hosts! John and his wife were incredibly generous and thoughtful, they stocked the tent with snacks, farm eggs, and drinks. The tent itself had a fridge, microwave, and pretty much everything you could think of and more. Waking up to that beautiful view every morning was the icing on the cake; like my boyfriend said, "I didn't know San Jose could be beautiful." The view of the valley was stunning. “While owner Massoud is a very nice person, and was very responsive and helpful during our stay, the location of the lodge we stayed in is not ideal. It is immediately adjacent to the motel office and you can definitely hear conversations from the office into the lodge. It was also difficult to enjoy the seating/dining area in front of our lodge as everyone checking in/out walked/drove right by where we were sitting/dining.
