“Just home from a overnight stay here. 4 double rooms was booked and couldn't of been happier. Was greatest by a very friendly girl who explained everything we needed to know. We unpacked and got changed after a long day motorcycling. Headed down for food which was outstanding complete with desert. After we went into the bar for a few games of pool and drinks. All the staff and locals was super friendly. The rooms complete with tea/coffee facilities freeview tv double bed shower over bath. 👌...

Check in from 4 but door locked. It was a little frustrating as I’d been working all day but wasn’t waiting too long. Hopefully was a one off as I will be surely checking in again when I’m in the area. ”

“Fantastic view. I booked it for the gym but as with a lot of hotels, their gym is very basic , old and in need of servicing. It seems they have spent more money on a large TV than on the equipment. Its small and cramped with no free weights Having said that , there was never anyone in it , so either they took one look and left of they dont have the type of cliental that are regular gym goers. “Amazing…. We love it here, there are many things to make this the case, the view, where the Ship is situated…. But the staff are so wonderful! ”

“I was disappointed to find that despite what it said on the Hotels site the Red Lion did not organise parking if you phoned. I had to park 5 minutes walk away and thankfully it was not raining too hard. With no food at the pub food choices were a little limited but luckily there is a very good take away pizza shop 50 metres away. The breakfast I had was very good so no problems with that.”
