“Fabulous winter stay at The Cosy Retreat. A lovely apartment which was cosy and warm on a cold December week. The thermostat was easy to use and the place heated up so quickly. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the pub which serves food all day and also a few minutes walk from the swimming pool/sauna/steam room which we used every day. The apartment is a five minute walk from the bus stop and so we used the bus to visit Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough, rather than driving and we found...

“We have stayed at the Bay Filey before so knew the location was good. Starfish Shack was very comfortable, warm and well warm equipped. We would have no hesitation in staying at Starfish Shack again.”

Our dog is absolutely terrified of them and was unfortunately left very distressed! We pay a lot of money each year to go to The Bay as it is a firework free place so we would definitely think twice before booking in future! Which is a massive shame.”

The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need, it’s extremely well equipped. Excellent WiFi. Parking just outside. It’s well located in the complex, close to the pub and leisure facilities. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we’ll be staying there again.”
