“I phoned Marriot about sorting out an accessible room as the showers in standard rooms aren't suitble. but when we got to our room, it was a standard room. Sadly, because I phoned, I had no proof via email, so the receptionist was like 'sorry, but it wasn't asked for'”

“We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. We were told that the heating would be turned on, but unfortunately the radiator remained cold throughout the entire night. As a result, the room never warmed up. Due to the lack...

“Nothing much to see really its a Victorian building with lots of rooms. The shower was just a trickle. Didn't get a good night's sleep as the washing machine was on all night. And traffic noise. Ok for one night i suppose.”

“Was our 3rd or 4th time staying. Car park good. Area around is lovely. Reception area is really nice. Room is clean, large. Bar food was good. Staff were good. Breakfast was okay - staff there were lovely. Pool, changing rooms are nice but steam room not working which was a shame. Welcome arrival from reception always seems lukewarm.”
