“Had such a wonderful stay this weekend with friends! The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and well-maintained, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. We also loved the restaurant - great atmosphere and delicious, high-quality food. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend! ”

“Really nice clean room and the staff were more than helpful and friendly however the food was unfortunately a disappointment with the rib eye steak being of poor quality, the onion rings being undercooked and the mushrooms being cold. The wait for food was also longer than expected. ”

“The staff all gave the most amazing service, its the care to detail the little extra that stands out. I could not find anything to complain about. The evening menu (££££) looked amazing, however I was not wanting a rich meal . So they let me order a sandwich. My husband enjoyed the fish pie. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent quality with plenty of choice. ”

“For someone who doesn't drive, this is a perfect spot, 10mins walk from train station, and local village, bus right outside property going to whitby and the moors. Accommodation itself perfect, everything you need and the hot tub was a bonus, very quiet area”

“Yes welcoming for dogs. Had a poolside suite. Only things i would say are the pillows are very hard and the bed linen could be softer. I say this because is expensive to stay. Also had to pay for a cappuccino at breakfast and i think when you pay this money you shouldnt need too”

“Stayed with my daughter in a twin room. Really comfy beds. Room looked good, cosy and was clean. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and liked the addition of a duck for my daughter’s bath. Great breakfast! Staff friendly. We ate dinner in the pub too and that was lovely. All in all a great stay and we’d recommend. ”
