“Dilapidated property with units that appear to have permanent residents in them, picture the projects. We checked in and noticed that our room had clearly been smoked in. We immediately contacted the owner who said it was barbecue smoke that we were smelling. We decided to leave due to the condition of the room/property and the strong odor. Unfortunately, we were still charged and when we contacted Expedia about this; we were offered only a partial refund due to their non-refundable cancellation...

“I think some people would say this hotel was too vintage for them, but for my dog and I it was perfect! I did not get to use the pool, but, it just wasn’t in our plans. This hotel was affordable, comfortable and very convenient. It was only about an eight minute ride if that, to Lake George and the dog friendly rooms had easy access to an outside path that allowed us for a little evening stroll. We had access to a kitchen, which made it a budget, friendly hotel, and we can see ourselves...
