Hotel vicino a Fort Hays Old West Town & Dinner Show - Rapid City

“This is a new hotel about 10 minutes from downtown Rapid City. Free parking and highway access are definite pluses. It is spacious and modern. It may lack the charm of the Alex Johnson hotel, but it more than makes up for it with convenience. The pool is very small but it does have a nice hot tub. The free breakfast buffet menu changes daily.”

“The property appears to be in the middle of some updates. However those didn’t seem to make it into the rooms themselves. The photos are deceiving. I ended changing rooms ones because of what appeared to be mold on the AC unit. The second room wasn’t much better. I found gum stuck to the bathroom vanity, toothpaste drips all down the front of the vanity, missing light bulbs and so much more. There was a strong sewer gas small in the hallways. “We arrived late and they sent their shuttle to pick us up at the airport. They have nice, warm cookies for guests. Nothing near the hotel except the convention center so they make the shuttle available to get to town/ rental car pick up point. Hotel very empty. Staff friendly. Nice, comfortable room and very good price/value.”
