Although the room had a great appearance it needed attention to detail. As to call for maintenance for a broken kitchen chair, non functional TV remote & bathroom light. Blinds in the master bedroom were detached and didn’t close properly. The room was consistently humid because the AC wasn’t working properly. We paid for a 5 night stay but hotel had us booked for 4 nights and locked us out of our room on the 4th day. Had to get an updated room code.

Our stay in Destin was a very pleasing and memorable experience especially with the excellent service of the Terrace. The unit was clean and ready for use, no hassle in checking in after a long flight. Amenities were within reach. My kids were very happy to use the pool at nights. It is very quiet at 10pm. There were enough parking space and it’s free. Hassle free check out. Thanks to the staff! We will surely comeback.

The elevator didnt work. It should have had yellow caution tape on it. After fire dept got us out it still did not have proper signage put on it. Also, no smoking signs dont work if not monitored. Smelt and saw people smoking. If you arent going to enforce. Dont make that rule.

Property needs some basic maintenance (painting, repair, replacement) and we had no housekeeping while we were there. No new towels or coffee delivered to our room.

We've stayed at the Terrace for 5 years in a row and enjoyed each trip. It has just what our family of 5 needs; nice pool and hot tub, an exercise room, parking garage (if the owner has a spot) and is located off the beach a bit so you don't have quite as many visitors.

Condo was really nice. Location was great! However I was disappointed that the beach was roped off and you could only sit behind all the chairs. Really hard to watch your kids play with 100 chairs in front of you.

We were evacuees from Hurricane Michael and I looked for many hours for a place with 3 full beds. We were commuting 6 hours a day and working 10-12 on cleanup in Mexico Beach and our goal was to have a bed to sleep in for all of us. The property I booked said it had 3 beds. However, when we arrived it had two beds. So I am 6'2 and 240 lbs and slept on the couch the whole time. Tried to remedy with property with another room or compensation and they would have nothing of it. Told us it was not guaranteed even though we paid in advance and it clearly stated on the reservation we would have 3 beds. Also told us Expedia was the one who should correct this and Expedia tells us to deal with the property directly. I can understand if they could not honor this but the lack and any consideration given the circumstances it unfortunate. Don't patronize this property.

The Terrace is a nice place to stay and our family enjoys it. It's close to the beach, but not on it, which is nice. The view from the balcony is always great.

When we got there we had to park in the garage because there was no where to park to check in . I like that it was close to the beach but we didn’t stay where we checked in our room was at the other hotel close to the road I didn’t understand why. I ask for a king bed and twins bed when we checked in our room we had a king bed and a queen bed so I called the office they said they was sold out like really it was 6 of us we made it work but I was mad overall we had a good time

Satisfactory stay at the terrace.
Overall acceptable stay. Not a lot of service provided. You check into your space and that’s all. You do your cleaning, washing, manage your garbage etc. that’s all new for me. Don’t know if that’s the new trend. They responded very promptly to service requests.

Was using Hotels.com a mistake???
We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Beach and would highly recommend it. We were at the Terrace building on the 5th floor, and I found the view to be just breathtaking. The homes that we overlooked, which technically obstructed our view of the bay, were Fantasyland gorgeous, and Im not sure an unobstructed view could have been any more beautiful. The condo was lovely and very comfortable. The security on the property was excellent, and we saw very little of the feared spring break college crowd antics. If you have a chance to get a muffaletta sandwich in the cafe, do it! I was a little surprised that the laminate was peeling off many of the cabinets in our condo kitchen in a way that made it uncomfortable to open them and use them without making the problem worse. I was disappointed that several of the walkways outside weren't truly handicapped accessible, but instead had last minute ramps added at impossibly high angles that made using them nearly impossible for people who are dependant on wheelchairs. Our dishwasher was broken and never got fixed, so we ended up hand-washing our dishes the entire time. The manager Keith indicated that he would like to give us some type of compensation, but since we booked through Hotels.com we were only received $100 discount on our next Hotels.com stay. I was disappointed by this.

Disappointed
We didn't get our room access until after 4pm, arrived around noon. Room was not as we contracted, they did not have a king bed so they tied two twin beds together. The twin beds were broke down and very uncomfortable. One of the bathrooms overflowed after the first use. The furniture looked like an assembly from garage sales. Room size and decor didn't look anything like the photos on the booking site. The TV remote was not linked to the TV in the main room, lucky housekeeping found an instruction manual or we would have had to wait over the weekend until maintenance could address the issue on Monday. The second room TV did not have a remote. at all. Bed felt like sand was in it and we hadn't need to the beach yet.

Great Stay
The condo was spacious and well appointed with a beautiful view from the balcony. There was s washer/dryer combo in the unit that came in handy. The facility is in a great location and within a short walking or driving distance from many attractions. My family enjoyed the stay and said they would like to stay at The Terrace during our next visit to Destin. The only negative was the small private beach area with a good portion of the area taken up by chairs and umbrellas for rent. We made the best of it and overall the trip was awesome! See the attached picture taken from the terrace...postcard worthy!

2nd Stay here
We came back to stay here for the second year in a row. The location is perfect and the resort is more than adequate for the price. However, we have come to realize that it really depends on which unit you get. This particular unit was not as well maintained as the one we had last year. This one needed some Updating. That being said, we will still be back. I will just book directly with the resort next time.

Amazing Resort
I was worried because you can never determine the condition of the resort or room based off pictures, but the minute I opened my room door I was amazed! It was perfect. Very clean and roomy. The room came equipped with dishes, washer/dryer, and just about anything else you would need. I stayed for 3 days and will definitely stay here again, probably for a longer time.

NICE ! Great Balcony
Stay was exceptional. Just know that there are two properties on location and only the main bldg is waterfront. The Terrace where I stayed is near the entrance at the road .... but still walking distance by way of boardwalk to the beach. We loved that it was in front of a water park the kids enjoyed that. The Terrace condo was perfectly equipped with everything you would have at home.

Had no problems at all everything was good it was spring break so a lot of families however it was pretty quiet. The cafe has good coffee and a very good cheeseburger. The beach and other aminities are a short walk I would certainly stay there again
