It looks like it used to be a pretty major hotel back in its day (glass elevator overlooking what probably used to be an indoor pool.) “The first room I was given had dirt between the sheets as well as something pink spilled in them. Soaked through to the mattress pad. I could tell they had not been changed. I politely asked for a set of clean sheets as I believed one of the beds had been overlooked. He said he will come change them. Then when he came down to see he agreed they were dirty and just gave me a key to a different room….SAME THING HAPPENED….one of the beds had dirt from feet and food crumbs in the sheets!! When he...

“The room was clean. However, 2 of the containers were off the wall, laying on the counter. All three, soap, shampoo and conditioner were completely empty, and looked like it hadn't been filled in a while. The ice maker was broken and looked like it had been broken for a while. The hotels' web site advertises a continental breakfast. Nope. In fact, when we stayed there in 2023, they said that they hadn't served the breakfast since covid. “We recently stayed overnight at Fox Lake Lodge, before we even arrived the staff was the nicest and very accommodating, great communication up to arrival. The place had everything we needed, very nice, clean and spacious on the inside. Overall I would highly recommend, they are newer and getting started and they didn’t a beat. ”
