“We started our NZ vacation here after landing in Christchurch and it was the perfect start. The pub served wonderful appetizers and desserts. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay--great for settling in and relaxation. The pool was cooler than I hoped. Breakfast is self-serve with limited but thoughtful options. Sharing facilities wasn't a problem, but there weren't many other guests during our stay. Staff was warmly welcoming and very accommodating. ”

“This property looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel because it is, partly, an apartment complex. It doesn't have a hotel lobby or bar or restaurant. It does have a laundry room, which is something I would really like to see in most hotels. The hotel's name is essentially its address, and that can be confusing when trying to explain to some of the locals where you are staying, but that's not a big thing. “I stayed in unit 8 - I was really happy with the location of the motel, also how quiet it was. The check in was a breeze, very lovely welcome. I was very very impressed with how clean my whole room and bathroom was- it was next level. I had a lovely balcony to have a cuppa tea and dinner on. I am definitely staying there from now on when I'm in CHC. The mall was straight across the road, loads of eateries to choose from. The bed was super comfortable.!! ”

“This was perfect. My 2 small children and I came in on the last flight of the night into the area, and a bag was left behind in Wellington. We had space, comfortable beds, and a cute little food truck in the parking lot. It was what we needed until our baggage caught up with us. We were, safe, warm, and treated very well.
