hotel molto ben strutturato e con buona manutenzione,ottima la posizione e la gradevolissima architettura dell'hotel che fa pensare più ad una grande villa che ad un classico albergo. colazione con ottimo buffet con una eccezione per i succhi che sembrano acqua quindi o troppo diluiti oppure sarebbe consigliato cambiarli,camera spaziosa e gradevole come pure i servizi comuni ; molto gentile tutto il personale in particolare il ricevimento unica pecca il personale delle stanze che non lava i bicchieri e non pulisce le piastrelle del bagno da tanto tempo e trascura la pulizia del balcone e delle sedie del balcone comunque vacanza gradevole

Facile da raggiungere
Ottima posizione, sia per raggiungere il centro citta che per arrivare al mare. In prossimita ci sono le fermate degli autobus per i tour, l'areoporto e la linea urbana. Taxi a tutti gli angoli. Personale sempre disponibile, buona scelta per il buffet della colazione. Ci sono due piscine esterne ed una interna. Adatto a famiglie con bambini e non.

Un ottimo e tranquillo hotel
Un ottimo albergo, solo situato un poco fuori dal centro di Funchal, comunque ottimamente servito da taxi e autobus. Molto tranquillo, scarsissima animazione (lo considero un dato positivo), molto gentile e disponibile il personale. Assolutamente un giudizio generale positivo. Vorrei sottolineare l'ottimo servizio fornito dall'agenzia che si è occupata del transfert da e per l'aeroporto: i più professionali e puntuali che ho trovato. BRAVI!

Hotel molto gradevole
Bellissimo il giardino che circonda l'hotel. Colazione molto varia e abbondante. Tranquillo in quanto lontano dalla strada. Biancheria da letto e da bagno molto usata. La pulizia del bagno è un po' sommaria.

Great holiday accommodation
The hotel grounds, pool etc are excellent along with all the staff, always smiling, happy and helpful. The food was good apart from the Italian night which didn't appear to have a lot of Italian food. The rooms are clean and spacious but are in need of an update along with the bathrooms imo. Complimentary shampoo/conditioner would be nice along with bottled water. Not enough electrical sockets. Overall a nice hotel and would certainly stay again ☺️

Schöne Garten- und Poolanlage, alles sehr gepflegt. Nette Restaurants a la carte. Besonders das Adega Restaurant war ausgezeichnet. Das Buffet allerdings konnte nicht wirklich überzeugen. Frühstück war super, aber zum Abendessen war die Auswahl nur ok und der Geschmack etwas fade. Gewürze haben definitiv gefehlt. Der Nachtisch war gut auch wenn eine Eiskarte fehlte.

Nice hotel with decent facilities, but the wi-fi in my room was awful - couldn't work or make calls using it at all (though it was better in the public areas). Also I found the breakfast buffet rather disappointing, with very little to mark it as Madeiran.

This place had a "nursing home" feel to it. In fact my wife joked she was going to "check me in". I didn't know but apparently Madeira Island has always been an old people place. This was also much different because I thought it was a small boutique place, it is a HUGE place, a corporate place with two hotels joined in the middle

Hotel agradável, um pouco antigo, mas com todas as comodidades. Colchões e almofadas de nível satisfatório. Staff, no geral, bem preparado. Especial referência ao Sr. Nélio Fernandes, excelente profissional, sempre atento a corresponder às necessidades e desejos de toda a família. Muito atencioso, cordial e disponível. Jantar buffet com alguma variedade, sendo a qualidade de confecção variável consoante os dias, uns menus bastante melhores que outros. Recomendo experimentar o restaurante Miramar. A possibilidade de utilizar os espaços comuns do hotel Miramar (hotel contíguo), nomeadamente espaço da piscina interior, jacuzzi, restaurantes e sala de jogos, melhora bastante a experiência, dado complementarem os espaços de lazer existentes no Village. No global, gostamos bastante da nossa estadia.

Though located right in the city due to its lovely set up it is really quiet and you almost have the feeling to be in a botanic garden dotted with swimming pools on different levels. The room was homely and clean and even had a kitchen. The breakfast was included and amazingly good. The staff were super friendly and fun.

Sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage! Freundliches Personal! Besonders Überrascht hat uns die Aufmerksamkeit der Restaurant- Managerin: mein Mann hatte Geburtstag und er bekam einen leckeren Kuchen, Prosecco und einen Geburtstagsbrief... war wirklich sehr sehr lieb!!!

Schöne Anlage mit 2 Pools. Freundliches Personal mit guten Deutsch kenntnissen. Gute Restaurants beim Hotel und in der Umgebung. Je nach lage vom Zimmer hört man den Strassenverkehr stark.

The gardens were excellent and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the low-rise nature of the hotel - we were on the ground floor, but the highest was only 6 floors and fairly unobtrusive. We were not informed beforehand that there was a charge of €6.50 per day for car parking!
