“We were only staying overnight, so didn't get very long to explore, but I really liked this hotel - a lot of character and the staff were very helpful. Only slightly marred by a faulty fire alarm that went off twice in the night, but not the staff's fault and we were reassured that a fix was underway. I would definitely come back again.”

“Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street ”

“The room was clean but the hotel as a whole i think needs a little redec. Reception staff were helpful on arrival. I’ll stay again next time i’m in Cheltenham.”

“Parking was very good. We DID NOT STAY there due to the fact it is a SHARED TOILETS! We booked alternative accommodation at great expense! I REPORTED THIS TO YOU ON SUNDAY 29th March. The room was misold due advertised for holiday use and it's only an over priced Doss house. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!”

“It's such a shame because the Rose Cottage is in a great location but it was very tired and could do with a proper up grade. Cobwebs everywhere which I didn't mind but when I went to use cutlery, saucepans, glass jar they were dirty and I had to clean them. There's no dishwasher so maybe the previous people that stayed didn't know how to wash up by hand and the cleaner didn't check. Also the fridge wasn't turned on and took a long time to get cold meaning no cold beers with our dinner. I...
