“We had a fantastic anniversary stay at the Stables. The room and bed was very comfortable and the highlight was the Japanese hot tub in the balcony! It was just perfect! We also enjoyed having dinner at the Bowling Green steakhouse and had breakfast brought to our room by room service. We look forward to staying again.”

“Comfy clean accommodation. A bit dated but well worth the cost. Big bright room with a small bunk room which between them accommodated myself & 6 grandchildren between the ages of 10 & 14 whilst we had a couple of days at Alton Towers. We all loved the food and the portions were good. They were safe playing in the park outside the back of the restaurant. The staff were all really friendly and spent time chatting to the kids even though they were pretty lively at times.”

“The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. ”

“Great place for football lovers. Beautiful building, Spacious and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There is history, memorabilia and pictures of English football history and current achievements. The spa facilities are awesome and the staff too. No regrets and will definitely return.
Just one negative was that our room had a shower but not a bath. I love to have a long hot bath when away but they tried to move us but the alternative rooms weren't suitable for us....

“Fantastic place to stay food fantastic so was stafe and service .rooms maybe a wee bit to warm .also our room was right above a generator but it did settle latter in the night .didnt like the step at the bathroom quite dangerous .alarge mirror in the bathroom would have been Lovley putting all that a side i will be back and i will be recommending it to freinds .”

“One night stay whilst visiting the races. Very convenient for centre of town and racecourse. Free parking at rear of hotel which was good. Skipped breakfast as it ended at 9.30 am. So popped over Wetherspoons instead only 2 minutes walk.”

There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet.
