“This is not a lodging for people who can’t do steps. Jackson Room requires a 20 step outdoor staircase to reach the room or leave the room. No other options. Second floor rooms in the main house also require climbing. No elevator. Luggage is a problem. Help needed. Jacuzzi bathtub nice but to use the shower combo one must step over its high sides. We did get into the room only after a second try because the first room we were given wasn’t made up. The second room had someone’s half empty wallet by the bed. “Friendly staff”

“First, I had occasion to contact the property several times before our arrival and the staff could not have been nicer nor more pleasant to talk to and were very happy to accommodate my requests. Upon arrival, again the staff was beyond helpful and pleasant and went above and beyond to promise us coffee earlier than their normal set up time (we were out early fishing).
