Nice hotel close to downtown but yet still quiet.

Was a good stay overall. No reall issues. Service was good. Had some remolding going on but hardly noticed. Only problem was Ac unit was a little on the noise side, not too bad though.

I was impressed with the size of the room. I liked the lament floor because I think it's cleaner than carpeting.

Beutiful views around hotel and peaceful.

Hotel and staff were lovely. Good breakfast, clean room. Close to Gatlinburg main town and close to the trolley stops. Would stay here again.

One night stay

First time to Gatlinburg and just for one night. There was some construction, renovation going on at the hotel but not a problem at all. Room was clean, newly renovated, and as advertised. A good deal for the money. Jimmy at the front desk was great.

Not worth it.

I stayed at the hotel when it was a Red Rood Inn and enjoyed the stay so I figured I would stay here again under the new management of the Days Inn. The only good thing about the room was that it was bigger and had a fire place. The room itself was very dirty and the floor looks like its rarely cleaned thoroughly. The room had no decor and was really bland. Not a single piece of wall art and it only had a small TV. I remember the last time I stayed they were under renovations but I'm not really sure what they did. I know the room is just a place to sleep but they could at least make an effort to make the room nice and more importantly CLEAN. The most disappointing thing was paying $60 the for my dog to stay when it was free last time. I was hoping something would justify the cost but unfortunately the hotel did not make up for it. I would not recommend staying here and would search for better options.

Not "Pet Friendly"

The room itself was clean, it looked nice and had a fireplace. The beds were the firmest beds that I have ever slept on. The "pet area" was quite a distance from the hotel rooms. It was on a hill that was so steep my dog had trouble walking on it. Definitely not "pet friendly". The hotel is listed as pet friendly but does not give hotels.com the remainder of their pet policy. When arriving at the hotel we found out that as long as they hear your dog bark just once then they can call the local SPCA to pick up your dog. After finding that out we stayed only one night, immediately booking a different hotel that was actually in truth pet friendly. The hotels.com customer service was very friendly and understood completely when called about this ridiculous problem.

Somewhat disappointing.

This was our second time staying at the hotel and unfortunately the rooms that are reserved for guests with pets are nowhere near as good as the other rooms,they are smaller and rough looking also some of the front desk employees are somewhat unfriendly.The breakfast that they offer also has been compromised in that they no longer have bacon there.We may not stay there in the fall when we return to see the car show.
