“The inn was very lovely with nice surroundings and clean rooms. It was bit odd to have a chair place adjacent to the gas fireplace but since it was so warm out the fireplace was not used. The bed was comfy, the ground pretty and the location very quiet.”

“The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. “Could not even check. My money was totally wasted. Made the reservation after 10 and didn't read the fine print that I would need to make arrangements with the hotel before 9 to get keys! Why did Expedia and the hotel take my money when I drove all that way and wasted that money for nothing! Extremely frustrating experience. Guess you always have to read the fine print. Corporate America is all too happy to steal your hard-earned money!”

“A peaceful and beautiful escape! For my first visit to Gurneville, Cottages on River Road added an extra layer of fun and excitement with our own private space, a wonderful fire pit with provided s’mores, and amazing staff! Looking forward to going back!”

“We had a beautiful stay, our son loved the pool, playground, focaccia baking class, fire pizzas, s’mores and outdoor movie screening. The tents were clean and beds were incredibly comfortable. The grounds are beautiful on a winery (and yes the wines are lovely as well!), loved every thoughtful detail. We will be back for sure!”
