“We were there for four nights and this property deserves an all-around five star rating. The property is fairly new and immaculate. Every employee we spoke with was extremely helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. The breakfast was the best we have had at any of the “suite” type hotels. The dining staff kept everything fresh and stocked and amazingly clean. Keep doing what you’re doing - you have a great place!”

“I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Although online and all the brochures advertise a free continental breakfast there is nothing available. We were promised that it would happen the next day, but there was nothing. The fan in the bathroom did not work and there was what appeared to be black mould at the top near the ceiling. The property was very rundown and stank of weed. It would definitely not recommend staying here.”

“Wonderful stay at Hampton Inn and Suites. Front desk staff was the best and super helpful. Booked thru Expedia but I usually book thru the Hilton app. She was able to transfer it to my app so as to have a digital key. The breakfast was very good eqch morning and warm cookies every evening. Overall, excellent stay! We'll be back.”

“I stay at Grouse usually in the fall for hockey. This was my first time staying in May. The largest draw to this hotel is their hot-tub and sauna. It was not advertised until check in that they were doing remodeling on that area so it’s closed until June. The onsite restaurant is a nice benefit to this place however the walls are notoriously thin at this hotel and the air conditioner does not keep the room cool enough as it’s very outdated. If I had known ahead of time that the hot tub was...

“Staff and owner are wonderful -very accommodating. The hotel is a beautiful landmark with a brand new facelift. Proximity to bar/pedicure place next door is an especially nice perk.”

“Great location and very updated property; but bring or use ear plugs with the heat or a/c unit going because it's system is very loud and will keep awakening you. Instead of a ductless quiet system despite the expensive rate to stay at the hotel, the hotel chooses to use a wall unit which is like staying at a Motel 6 or quality inn without the discount.”
