“Can’t say enough good things about Muckrach Country House. The home is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was stunning. We had absolutely the best nights sleep of our whole trip! More importantly Donnie and the staff are the sweetest people! We only got to stay one night but wish we had more time to stay. Absolutely book it, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Un Inn davvero molto bello. Camere non grandissime ma dotate di ogni confort, più qualche accortezza che non fa mai dispiacere. Cucina ottima, bar d'epoca bellissimo, personale veramente piacevole. Colazione ottima nella veranda illuminata dal sole. Lo consiglierei a tutti.”

“Such a beautiful house, and our room was fantastic. We stayed one night and the breakfast was delicious. No problem parking; the grounds were well kept. Jodi welcomed us, and even helped with dinner reservations. I loved the bathrobe touch, and the room was super cute. The price was a bit high, but we only stayed one night, so no discount for multiple nights . We really liked our short stay, and how close it was to walking to a restaurant.”

“The room was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious! For some reason, many of the places we stayed (including this one) did not provide conditioner. Not a huge deal, but thought I’d note for future guests. It is a cute small town and convenient to hiking destinations. Also note there is not central air and the windows do not open more than a few inches, so on hot days, the room gets very stuffy. Not the fault of the hotel, though!”

“Nice hotel. If you want a tv you need to have a room on the second floor but who needs a tv nowadays when there is WiFi. Very comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom.”

“They were great hosts. The location was prefect. We were able to walk to and from the distillery while leave the car parked. The near by restaurant was amazing”

“Hotel room was modern and clean can’t fault, breakfast on the other hand was not so good , £12 for a fry up….pricey and not good, the fried egg was burnt the potato scone was like rubber and the haggis was all mush, came on a rectangle plate not round or square, not fit for purpose, whoever the cook is needs to learn how to fry an egg. I would stay at the hotel again and go for breakfast somewhere else.”

“Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay! ”

“Great clean accomodations with plenty of facilities but all messages through Expedia were automated and I did not receive responses to enquiries sent. Otherwise everything was as described and we had a lovely stay”
